There are such things as metabolic disorders.

Unsurprisingly, class plays a huge role. And wealthy women beat the US average by a wide margin.

You can keep people alive far longer but keeping them healthy and more importantly their mental faculties going is a lot harder.

Biscuit Bitch serves great biscuits & gravy (the location I go to is mostly standing room only & often crowded). Von’s 1000 Spirits is a nice place to catch a good dinner. Duke’s has some awesome chowder. Piroshky Piroshky has fantastic pastries - both savory & sweet ones. Rachel’s Ginger Beer is a great place to stop

If you like beer but can’t have gluten - Ghostfish Brewery down near the stadiums. GF beers on tap and a totally GF menu. Kid and dog friendly. I just took my sister there; celiac disease runs in my family. She thought she’d never get to eat fish and chips again.

July is spectacular and the sun stays up until almost 10pm. The downtown public library is beautiful and worth walking through. The Highline is a vegan metal bar that also serves food and is some of the best pub food (burgers, sandwiches, etc.) in Seattle.

Head to the Ballard neighborhood every Sunday for the farmer’s market that takes up a long stretch in the nicest part of Ballard.
