I am pro nuclear power as a static infrastructure. Nuclear resources should be tightly controlled, but that doesnt mean we shouldnt use them as an immediate clean air solution, with wind and solar supplementing it where appropriate.

Aren’t you the guy that argued there should only be six total cars on the market? — With the Porsche being your sports car, for the people, how does the theoretical Mazda fit into your dis-, I mean, utopian view of the car market?
Agreed.
The massive flaw in this entire argument is that without competition to move the goal post, none of the ‘best in class’ cars would be anywhere near as good as they are today.
Ford seems to have pushed the colors pretty hard in 2018 production, I’ve seen many yellow, green, and blue cars running around. The rental lots do favor white, silver, and black, but I’ve come across a couple colorful models from them, they are just uncommon.
Here is a 2019 5.0L GT, Premium package model in red for…
I was really excited to rent a Camaro SS when on vacation a couple years ago, but you’re right, the trunk was comically-awful. We could only fit one of our three bags, despite 10 minutes of tetris-inspired attempts. The Mustang trunk just fit them all in, but it was already reserved, so we ended up in a Charger R/T…
Tom delivers logic, but Justin takes the win with the tagline.
Toyota is an overly cautious company, it isn’t a cost concern, but one of assuring it is as stable as acceptable by their internal targets, and sexurity is a valid metric among that. The new Camry didn’t launch with it, but it will be coming down the pipe.
It was Toyota’s choice, not BMW holding out on them. Toyota looked at several BMW components and among them was infotainment, deeming iDrive7 to be too new to form an opinion about for stability and durability, opting for the less-desirable, but known quantity that is iDrive6.
Wants a ‘fun’ car he doesn’t have to work on all the time and everyone suggest German except the perfectly-sensible Tom McFarland...
I’ve discovered outside of specialist/race shops, exhaust shop welds are abhorrent to using stainless feed wire.
A lot of specialist shops exist in Florida, which made it easy to find a competent welder to do up a nice stainless system, but Colorado, oddly, they are rare. Every exhaust shop I’ve called, and I called…
We just need to make some new friends in space.
I hope she takes her case to an employment attorney, taking with her the ‘Employee Handbook’ she was last required to sign, an any documented communication regarding her co-worker harassment/web-identity. Unless there is a specific rule in the handbook about her web activity conduct, she may have a legitimate cause…
Can confirm.
For reference, I sold mine for 8k in the below condition. Car was tracked but mostly street-driven, and all parts where quality components, not drift specials.
I want to say nice price due to the clean condition of the car, but let’s be honest with ourselves, $7,500 buys a lot of nice cars with less nostalgia, including many better performers. That is also knocking real close to the 12k you could spend to find an early FR-S/BR-Z.
Love the color combo, not what you’d expect to see on a Corvette, or a mid-engine sports car, but it works rather well.
The interior looks quite wasteful, it is good to have the large storage spaces fore and aft of the axles.... but anyone that has owned/driven a C5/C6/C7 will acknowledge how cavernous their rear hatch area is, making for a very practical sports car in daily life that doesn’t have more than one passenger.
“I can’t think of a car that has been more hyped, argued, and picked apart than the 2020 Chevrolet Corvette. The C8 Corvette. “
The 2020 Toyota Supra dances awfully-close. I do believe that the C8 will better deliver on expectations than the Supra. Both are great cars, but the Supra expectations differed from what…
It is a shame that MOST of the aftermarket headunits look like Pachinko machines; and usually have comically small buttons that you’d have to be a squirrel to operate with any confidence.
