You magnificent bastard!

My wife and I are transplants from Florida to Colorado, and I love RWD cars.

Look up J Mays and the Callum brothers when you get a chance. They all got around a bit too, with a lot of influence on the design world as a result.

When companies agree to HIPAA compliance, it is little more than a ‘Yes, I affirm our security and practices are good enough.’, without any actual auditing or oversight to validate as such. Meaning, sloppy start-ups and big companies with little respect for people that they see as a product, have little motivation to

Depends if it is titled as a kit car. However, being it was brought over, assuming the paperwork was filed for ‘importation for exhibition’, he may be fine.

“Hey, it’s me... yea, Edd, listen, things got a little out of hand and...”

Audi’s former head of design is now Hyundai/KIA’s head of design. Imitation or merely continuing a design trend he helped evolve?

Depends on more than just the ‘seasonal rating’. There are bad winter tires, bad all season tires, and bad summer tires too. Everyone makes assumptions and often end up with the wrong tires or giving bad tire advice as a result. (Faced this with a lot of customers, running performance cars on the street)

Only a few bought the Volt, only a few bought the Bolt. People bought Teslas by the buckets (in comparison). The Nissan LEAF is held as a trophy to affordable EV’s, and yet they sell less of them per month than GM manages to move Bolts.

Jason,

Drives really well too! My previous company had one as a ‘travel car’ that I’d take once in awhile, when I didn’t feel like doing the drive in a Miata. It was comfortable, feature rich or the time, had a nice looking interior again for the time, roared about with the VQ engine and a solid automatic, and felt more

This. Also, RocketBunny and Pandem kits need to stop messing with cars that already look fantastic.

Rebuild the motors, they are serviceable on the FD.

Post up on CL/Marketplace - “Kia parts, 1$ each” and let the people take care of it for you.

Selling cars is hard. For me, if I’m parting with a car, it is ideally to replace it with something else or to clear a redundancy in the fleet. If those boxes can be checked, it is easy to move on, even if the specific car had a lot of memories. The memories will forever be in your head, so don’t let those hold you

That poor FD -- I’d be on board to see that front-end swap happen on the new MX-30 though.

I was at a car meet with two other RX-8 owners when a family approached and started asking questions, as potential future owners. At the end of the conversation the other two owners looked at me and both said, ‘Sounds like you are trying to talk them out of an RX.’ — My belief is that if someone goes in fully-informed

I’ve owned an FC and an FD, and the FD was my favorite of the two, though the FC was still pretty great. Expanding the selection, the FE/SE3P RX-8, NC Miata, and ND Miata have all been better chassis than either the FC or FD. Design and styling weighs heavily on personal preference, with some consideration that design

Yep, when I was in telecomm, my team spent large swaths of time, more than time spent on any other project, writing and running reports from our databases for the marketing, sales, and executive teams.
