Just because the business and marketing guys won’t let them make up-to-date fun things, doesn’t mean the engineers and designers have forgotten who they are.

Looks like the low spots of both vehicles ride around the lowest point the lug nuts reach in their orbit around the hub. (anecdotal reference in absence of specifications) 

This is the first design in a decade where I feel like Honda ‘gets it’. No garish vents or chunky-cheap lines, just a clean style with elegant details that compliment function and aren’t afraid to be a little cute.

Mostly because this little guy carries a lot of visual parallels with the MX-30 shown here.

EV’s still need cooling. The grills, even small ones, on current ICE cars are purely for design as sufficient airflow is provided through the lower inlets of bumpers on just about every car. The same lower inlets that are still in use on the likes of a Tesla Model S.

I love this car, and was excited to see it come to market. Not at all surprised the US is being skipped, after all this nation is SUV crazy at the moment, and until/if that changes, small darlings like this and the FIAT 500 will never succeed.
