When I read about the Polestar2 on Autoblog, they made it sound like the base car is FWD, and that going with the Performance Pack adds AWD. Can you confirm that the base car is indeed AWD (I’m guessing with two motors) — granted the suspension and gold seatbelts are worth the price of entry alone. The wheels are a

Far more excited for this than the Model3. Tesla is great, they are stirring up a staid market, even if only for the affluent, but their cars are iPhones. Devoid of emotion, packed with tech, and focused on only one man’s vision of what a car should be.

I came, I saw, I gave an approving nod and a Texas-sized 10-4 good buddy.

GoldenEye is one of my favorite games (nostalgia tint in full effect) and GoldenEye also happened to be one of my favorite Pierce Brozie’ Bond flicks, with pretty great casting all around

They are both great driver’s cars; so yes, on metrics of differentiation, interior was an important factor.

As awful as the FIAT 500 interior materials are, the horrid design of the Fiesta interior is why we went with an Abarth 500 instead of a Fiesta ST.

Bumblebee! What have they done to you?!

I love how the leak has landed everywhere, except inside the little container you placed under the car.

That legendary smell of leather, Camel cigarettes, light beer, and second-hand exhaust fumes; all contained in one bottle for the discerning urban rider that almost has it all.

(Absurd Jalopnik question inbound!)

LOL — a type-o for sure, but dead on.

Right there with Keh-sim-e for Kissimmee, which the uninitiated love to say as, ‘Kiss-em-me’.

I wouldn’t credit it with driving well in a straight line, but it certainly vaporizes tires with ease and expediency.

Now playing

Well, yes, but I don’t think anyone expected otherwise. The car is up 500lbs, 400lbs of it will be on the front-end.

Put 200 miles on a 500 Abarth in the hills, another 30 on a 124 Abarth. The cars ARE terrific.

I’d give the Abarth 500 the title of ‘go kart-like’ under track conditions. They have very little suspension travel, so geometry changes do happen but as the suspension compresses, it goes into a rigid form that responds quickly, with the front relying on allowed flex (a common trick on motorcycles) to dampen further

Tony! They are pretty good, contrary to popular belief.

They are reliable, despite ratings from Consumer Reports and the dated Tony jokes. Most dealer visits noted on the forums, and that I personally experienced, related to the awful Bluetooth connectivity; something CR ranks with reliability, but I feel gives an incomplete picture. There were a few engine oiling and

I haven’t driven a 500e, but on paper it is within a second of the Abarth 0-60 time and sports a lower center-of-gravity, making for a more stable and planted experience. It has the standard 500 suspension, which is a bit bland, but that can be resolved in the aftermarket. If one pops up for sale in town I may go

They are all over Colorado, which is a reasonable day’s drive away (granted the return journey, with charging, might take a week).

If the range is an issue, the Abarth is the way to go. (I’m in an Abarth this week and having a lot of fun)
