Yeah. I think they’re blaming the wrong thing here. Less likely the specific drug, but more likely another, or the cocktail, or the administering.

Slightly OT - I was an employee of a crisis line in Dallas at the time. I will never forget the “I’m suicidal, my plan is to walk into Presby Dallas and catch Ebola!” call. I was like... “do you know how to get there?” His plan basically did my job for me.
Def. The one singing soprano was so pitchy and sharp. It hurt my ears.
My uncle was murdered and his killer was the fastest to go through death row.
The tremor with Lithium is different than the stiffness that Zabella describes. It is non-neuroleptic. Lithium tremors are of a higher frequency and will usually dissipate with either a dose change or discontinuation. It isn’t a rigidity of muscles (possibly permanent if not addressed), but a postural tremor.
This is caused tardive dyskinesia. While not as common with antidepressants as with antipsychotics, it can be a side effect. And you should mention the muscle stiffness to your doctor. Long term exposure, if that is the reaction your body is having, can be permanent.
She may well be diagnosed with bipolar disorder and only speaking of the depressive side of it, because the stigma is less, but Lithium is used to treat bipolar disorder and overwhelmingly during manic stages.
The sparsely but appropriately used caps lock is a lost art.
Hahahaha! That’s perfect.
It’s all my eyes could see. I stopped trying to change it.
MY CREEPY UNCLE IS SOME SORT OF PASTOR AT THIS CHURCH AND ... well ... The Barndemonium episode - that barn was my grandma’s barn, which she signed over (with her house next to it) to my weird and nauseating Christian cult aunt and uncle. The barn was going to be like a missionary commune, it was never going to be a…

This is 100% correct - at least in Dallas were I work in psych admissions. If you are brought by police then handcuffs will be involved. If I take a crisis call I will always explain that to the person so agitation will be less if the police or EMS are called. Also, so if they are capable/safe enough to get themselves…
I’ve always said I would support gender segregated train cars. Public transportation is such a scary place to be a woman.
Well, an hour, unless they say something like “THEY ARE CHASING ME BECAUSE THEY WANT TO STEAL MY VAGINA AND I HAVE MINERAL RIGHTS TO MY LABIA!”
I mean - I really don’t get it... have y’all ever been around the Big Bend area? The terrain is a wall in and of itself. Plus, they already use an “invisible wall” of like posting checks 60 miles in, because you can make it 60 miles across the border without dying or being picked up.
I lived there. I think they work. I was just commenting that they have shorter work hours and it’d be a shame to plan a walk out at the time you leave already... for selfish reasons.
I really have no idea. I don’t talk to the crazy cult people. But I plan on gathering information Thanksgiving. :)
I agree. I wasn’t commenting on work product. I was joking about it would suck to stage a walk out at the time you leave anyway.
Man, I hope the plan isn’t just to go back to work the next day. Most French workers stop at 4:34 already.
