Maybe she saw the movie.

These 25-minute running times are great. They're in, they nail it, and they're out.

Were those on video? Or was that a really protracted divorce?

Hopefully Jeff Bezos will roll out Matrix Prime, so at least we can stream shit.

The cheese never quite spills over to camp. Which is a shame, because if it had, I might have enjoyed it.

I'm surprised Dinklage doesn't make more. He kind of carries that show.

You know, I hadn't considered that. Thanks!

North Carolina just declared that body cameras are not public information. In other words, a court order will be required before footage is released. The mayor of Charlotte (among others) supports this move.

My biggest problem with ALL these services is finding a good way to browse and discover new titles. I've yet to find and online equivalent of wandering through a well-stocked video store (yes, those) and looking at boxes. Maybe Netflix is better than I imagine, but finding stuff is tedious as hell.

Yes, which is why we need to be very public about other people's piracy, and act like we don't know about those URLs that end in .CH and .IS (Iceland has Björk AND pirates!)

Yes. But given Netflix's apparently execrable behavior, you're providing a source of competitive pressure and therefore performing a valuable service. So thank you, you piece of shit.

No connection is drawn between the ongoing trial-by-media and the proceedings of the case…so why is so much time devoted to Pisa? It's like the producers ended up with a lot of great material from a charming (if a bit slimy) tabloid journalist, then randomly cut to his POV. To a certain extent, the same can be said of

The Eclipse is a very good, very overlooked romantic ghost-story with Ciarán Hinds. And Harris' character in Poltergeist almost…and I say almost…made me hope for a sequel….

I'm enjoying the lack of excess, and the fact that when things do go over the top, it's grounded in character and plot, and not just a thumb-to-the-eyeball attempt to shock (e.g. Hotel).

I drive past Wendy's every day, occasionally thinking to myself, "hey, didn't they have surprisingly good chili?"

"Impactful."

He's looking very Frank Booth these days. (That's a good thing.)

Anyone remember The House of Seven Corpses, with John Carradine? Seems like we're only one zoom-out away from bringing these threads together…revealing the talking heads being interviewed on the set of the re-enactments…or something like that…when all hell breaks loose.

Saw it in High School (no, not literally); my friends and I walked out midway-through, the tipping point being Linda Hunt's preposterously portentous entrance. To this day we can draw a laugh by simply saying, in an overly-dramatic voice, 'The Housekeeper!'
