Yeah, and it felt really ‘small’, but not intimate in the way that Homecoming was. Maybe that was intentional with mirror Wakanda’s isolationism. I was expecting more.

For representations/themes, Black Panther knocked it out of the park. As for the actual story, I felt it to be very by-the-numbers Marvel. After Homecoming and Ragnarok, I felt a little disappointed to see it go back to the formula. I’d still put it at the bottom of the top/top of the middle of the Marvel movies.

You are complaining that a TV show about people with superpowers has people with superpowers in it.

So Fringe, but with a stable passage between universes (that we know), actual spy/thriller stuff, and 200% more JK Simmons.

This is one of their best storylines to date. Sure it hits a few of the same points they have in the past but it has been amazing so far.
