It is. It’s cheesy in just the right, “wide-eyed and full of wonder” way, like Warehouse 13, with a lot more Arthurian mythology and magic and time travel. It’s very very good, actually. I thought it was going to be just awful, until I watched it and it charmed the hell out of me.
Until like a few months ago I thought the whole “people hate the word moist” was just one massive HIMYM reference, I had no idea people disliked it outside of Lily.
I have no idea what is up with a random new government agency in next season. News to me. The premise is basically: there is a magical library whose Librarian is responsible for tracking down magical threats to the world and dealing with them. The show is about a small group of those librarians who go out and fight…
Yeah, doubt if anybody will notice I haven’t torrented it for a few weeks :)
Wow, what a bunch of entitled, whiney little children you all are! The man is using his influence to cause a Sci Fi series to be made. One in space! With at least one, presumably more, spaceships!
Just to spit in DC’s eye: Avengers: Crisis on Infinity Earths and Avengers: The Death of Superman
[Apocalypse is] kind of the opposite of Christ
the internet is place full of nitpicking nerds.
Cue the outcry of people upset that the leading role will not be played by an actual cyborg.
Yeah, remember that Bucky?
Stop taunting us with your Britishness! Us Americans have to wait a whole other week, which is ironic because the movie is about Captain America, dammit.
That’s fine. It would have been nice, though, if while thy were making their “slightly more twisted take on the DC universe” they also managed to make a good movie.
This is all I see...
Change? We fear change.
There are certain aspects to a long-standing character that people like, and is the reason they enjoy the character and want to see them on the big screen. If you had wolverine without claws, or James Bond worked at Sears in his down time, wouldn’t that be an irreconcilable difference to the character? Would you be…
Yeah, of course. The issue is not a different take on Bats/Supes or any other DC heroes. It’s just that this is the first time we’re getting to see these characters together in a major movie. So, should an "elseworlds" style story really be the first introduction of these characters on the big screen?
It’s getting tiresome, isn’t it?
Can I agree with this and continue to enjoy the debate? Thoroughly enjoying the Internets at the moment.
I don’t have a problem with a hero that uses lethal force. Every major Marvel cinematic villain except for Loki has been killed in some way, and I still watch and enjoy Marvel movies.
