@Chris Cain: That's what I was thinking. Perhaps the license is only good for X amount of the product, and they reached that limit.

I think if a westerner is going to play a Japanese game, then they're ready to accept the way it may have been designed for Japanese gamers.

@alexma1812: I'll tell you why I didn't care for 8, though I will admit to good music and lovely cut scenes, as well as one of the greatest opening sequences of any game.

.... You needed more money by the end of the game to buy the castle? I don't think you were playing it properly. :)

@MarkoPolos: That means they did their job properly. Commercial = Success.

Ooooh super sweet. That's bad ass. This trailer has successfully made me incredibly excited for this game. Was already gonna get it, but this helps built my excitement.

@DJsupremacy: Probably because there wasn't enough money in the register worth stealing that early in the morning. It did say he was waiting for the safe to open...he might have gotten impatient and just left with what he could get.

@Terrorsaur - Five Six: No way, I think anyone who's played with the equalizer has done that, or at least considered it - I'd be very surprised if Valve didn't expect it.

So...if she would "never buy that kind of video," how did her 14-year-old end up with a copy?

@Slagathorian: No.... I don't have my own income, so I save up money I collect through various means during the year (like last Christmas, or my birthday) and set it aside so that I can get him something for his birthday and Christmas. So I can't afford nice, expensive things for him. All the other stuff (for

@toadstoolporridge: She watches a little bit. She's not really an anime fan, but she's seen a couple of things here or there, usually while I was watching them. Turns out that she loves Cowboy Bebop. The Emma stuff I figured she would enjoy, because she likes Jane Austen and similar writers. If she REALLY watched

That's some serious street date breaking. Why on earth was it shipped out so early anyway?

@yourcitylovesyou: There's a joke that Baptists don't drink. And they don't, in public. But they're all drunks at home. I think sex is similar. Yeah, it's everywhere, but a lot of people won't admit to it. It's like the country's worst kept secret, that people actually have sex.

OK, shameless plug time.

@PanicDriver: Seriously, that's dangerous. Unless you're like, 12 or something.

@Evdor: You're bringing up something here that I don't even care about. Prestige classes? Really? So what? I don't think I've ever used one. Usually we don't even get high enough in our character levels to bother. To be perfectly honest, I very rarely (and I mean, I can probably count on one hand) ever use any

@Thriceborn: I actually got really mad during one of our 4E sessions and declared that we should all play goblins in our next game, because they were clearly superior to us in terms of abilities. I went "Hey, wtf? Why can't WE do that kind of shit?"

@Mazrem: Actually, I prefer rogues over wizards. I certainly don't mind blowing a whole room of baddies into smithereens with a well place fireball, though you need to be around lvl 8 or 9 to be really effective with it. I like rogues because there are infinite combinations. No two of my rogues are ever the same.

Uhh... Lifehacker uses Google Analytics... right? That renders this poll completely pointless.
