The frame looks solid, but I’m concerned with the placement of the motors. Also, if you do end up breaking the frame, it looks like a pain in the ass to service. I’m a big fan of modular arms for drones w/ plenty of extra carbon to protect the motors. A broken arm is a 5 minute fix.

It's not only BT 4.0 that enables this. Macs also require a special wifi chip to use Handoff. My mid-2011 MacBook Air has 4.0, but no handoff. The Bluetooth section in System Report will tell you explicitly if it will work.

You would easily be able to tell the difference. Compare a pre-Retina iPhone to a Retina iPhone for the same effect. The difference is staggering.
