"Actually, this version of Suicide Squad is a lot closer to what I initially expected, if I'm honest."

I assumed that when it came to baiting bored crazy people into libel suits, he was taking the safe route.

Ugh, we had those oversized bag cars that had the weirdest mascots just plastered all over the sides. It was like saying "don't pick me for your team in any sport and if you have to pick me, make me be the ref" about as loudly as you could.

I think she's great when she plays to her strengths and away from her limitations. She can't do "swept up by inertia" to save her life; she needs characters who take the initiative and *do* things. It makes her a poor / odd choice to play a second-tier romantic interest for a Great Big Main Character who clearly has

"Give 'em the ol' razzle-dazzle / Razzle-dazzle 'em!"

Well the point is that someone outside the door is only overhearing part of it and TAKE IT EASY ON ME, I CAN ONLY WORK WITH WHAT I'VE GOT HERE.

I'M GETTING SCARED THAT I'M JUST NOT UP TO IT! *sob*

I think an Asian actor could've nailed this, but I don't think it helps that he couldn't look less Asian if he tried. He looks like if Ireland made hobbits.

I have the file selected but whenever I TRY TO PUT IT IN THERE, IT WON'T STAY. So I keep having to PUT IT BACK IN THERE, AGAIN AND AGAIN, UNTIL IT STICKS.

P&G was about the dumbest, worst parts of America; the hypocrisy you're pointing out was central to the movie's point. Everyone in that movie was chasing after their own version of the "American Dream," and while the victim was unlikeable, he was also hard-working, honest and direct. Our muscleheaded protagonists'

I have been doing exactly that, but thank you for the advice! I need all the help I can get.

Yeah, this game is pretty sink-or-swim about figuring that out. On the same note, I love how my dwarves can crunch anything they get their hands on melee (or at least it seems that way) but good luck getting your hands on anything in the first place…

"He died doing what he loved."

I've been scanning the comments looking for someone to upvote for saying this. If you thought The Rock was better than Pain and Gain, you misunderstood Pain and Gain.

I'm still muddling through with my dwarves in that game, and I'm not sure I'm looking forward to the Brettonians. Actually, each side sounds irritating in its own way, which probably means it's more balanced than most asymmetrical game designs out there.

In my defense, Champions goes out of its way to be nonlethal in combat anyway and I'd put them in no danger whatsoever. But yeah, it's always a risk with that sort of planned adventure. "No module survives contact with the players" or something to that effect…

Here's hoping! The basic idea certainly has merit.

I've said this before, but I just loved the setting. Seriously, open world game guys: we don't need any more New York, Los Angeles or Chicago. Like, ever again.

Oh no! Unplanned tonal shift sabotage! I had a Champions player get his and another player's DNPCs horribly murdered entirely through his (the player's, not the character's) massive, staggering stupidity, and it utterly ruined what should've been a four-color whiz-bang one-off action session.

Dear AV Club: if you're going to axe comments, could you tell us in advance instead of surprising us? I just got done saying how I've been thinking about this post all week; if this is going away, I'd like to have a going-away party for it.
