As an American, I apologize for that. We just didn't want him here for a couple of minutes and things got carried away.

I had the exact same reaction. "Welp, time for another Scoxit vote."
Every PC team, reacting to every GM plot hook ever: http://gawker.com/fuck-that…
I loved Talos Principle. People who think writing in games isn't worth hiring a professional writer for should chart this game's development, play it—and then hire a decent writer.
As a member of the "Americans, Atlanteans and other aliens" tribe, we need all the help we can get these days. (I mean that tongue-in-cheek but not at all sarcastically, in case I suck at Nuance On The Internet.)
Late to the game, but Humblebundle is having a Sonic bundle for PC going on right now, by strange coincidence.
…Wow. Although come to think about it, this strikes me as pretty much exactly how Cast Away probably went if it was told entirely from inside the protagonist's head, and if Wilson was a dead guy.
I never know when I'll come across a sentence I need to add to my list of sentences to throw into random conversations. It's always a surprise.
Seeing Sonic 2k6 here reminded me that everyone needs to see Coldsteel the Hedgeheg: https://www.youtube.com/wat… I don't care if it's been posted, I don't care if you've seen it before; this is important, people.
Every time I think Donald Kaufman can't surprise me any more, he finds a way.
…On the other hand, calling people stupid for not liking what you like is just you cutting yourself off from the "antithesis" half of the "thesis + antithesis = synthesis" heuristic. That attitude is a self-made guarantee that you won't grow intellectually past a certain point.
I bet the "lying constantly" is the best part. Besides the money, of course.
I mean it shouldn't be that big a shocker, but yeah, nice catch.
You can just read the enthusiasm and cheerful camaraderie there.
"I’m not a genre guy at all. I’m not a huge fan of horror, or fantasy, or space, or sci-fi, or any of that…I’m more interested in things that actually happened than things that people are making up. That’s just where I spend my leisure time, but I’m happy to be working on something, you know, in this genre."
Reminds me of Quinton "Rampage" Jackson, a then-UFC fighter, saying in a press conference that he'd gotten interested in mixed martial arts to "whup white people and get paid for it instead of arrested" or something to that effect. It was timed perfectly and you could practically hear the half-gasp before the laughs.
Jessie456987 takes the long view—just like the vampires do. Maybe we should be learning from her.
If I had offensive amounts of money, I'd hire Peter Stormare to follow me around and tell people things I need to tell them, only however he felt like doing it. "Wehl off COURSE he vants haht soss wit dat! OFF COURSE HE DUZ! You thinkk - you thinkk - he would wvant to eat sahmthing so plain withowt it?!?"
Heh, interesting idea. The only way out from here is so cliche'd that he just keeps throwing it out and trying again. I could see that, actually; he's made some wonderful commentary along the way at Tolkein et al.
Yeah, it seems like it could work just fine if you dropped one in the other's continuity with no explanation given whatsoever. Deadpool being there sort of suspends a lot of the usual rules.
