I’m a car nerd and a bike nerd. I worked as a bike mechanic from 1988 till maybe 2010. I always like your car related articles; your bike related articles seem...odd to have here on Jalopnik, and you come off a bit of a bike newbie.

My bro in law lives in Ann Arbor and has a 1995 Toyota T100 he needs to get rid of. It is a 4x4 extended cab with a 5 speed manual. It used to be mine. It would easily fit in your budget, has heat, lights and those sorts of luxury items.

I have a 6speed Tacoma 4x4 with a 2” lift and a track prepped 135i. What does that say about my penis?

I only got about 1000 miles on my last set of Nitto NT01s. Fronts and rear both down to the cords after 30 ish twenty-minute sessions.

I’m about to give my son my 09, 150,000 miles Tacoma crew cab, 6mt, 4x4. Pretty slow and bullet proof.

I had a 2000 Caravan. Strut towers rusted out before 40,000 miles. Chrysler had a stamped steel cap and a procedure to install it, but no recall. That thing was trash. My 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee was better but had oil leaks, terrible fit and finish, needed a starter and suspension parts.

I have a TRD Tacoma and a 135i. Both have 6 speed manuals. I regularly skip from 3rd to 6th - both motors have reasonable low end torque and are easily capable of pulling cleanly at 2k rpms. (I don’t do this when driving in an err, spirited manner). With engines as flexible and refined as they are now, the CVT and 8+
