Apparenlty IOS devices are easier to code for. Although I’m not too sure on that

iOS games are easier to code, make 4 times as much money, have about 5% the piracy rate, and run better overall due to higher than average hardware. Of that 79% market share, 60% is made up of cheap low end devices running ancient Android versions that hardly ever connect to the Internet. Marketshare means nothing if

Because it takes a lot of work to accurately simulate a piece of hardware. The same reason most emulators running on PCs still have flaws even after sometimes decades of development.

File this under games I didn’t realize I needed until now.

I would probably just be Sophia. She would be the one kicking the most ass.

Damn, you beat me to it!

Finally, the Golden Girls game that has been in development hell for years. Looks like you’ll be choosing Blanche as your character. I was always a fan of the lankiness of Dorothy. Would you be interested in setting up a guild with me when the game premiers

I’m going to assume English is not their first language!

Nah, I meant they’re fuckin shit up in a good way.

Fucking shit up = good.

OMG a Golden Girls game!

Not at all—it’s hardly original to me as is. Been floating around Kinja for ages. :-)

Give her the shocker !

Ah, ‘the shocker’ as we like to call it

Now playing

The other oversight was Harrier Attack. The first game I ever owned on a home system/computer and apparently the first ever Amstrad game.

Because it’s pretty easy to take someone else’s original idea and improve on it once technology advances and you have time to think about it, but much harder to come up with an original, groundbreaking idea.

Because the original is what caused the sequel to exist in the first place, AND is a very good game in its own right. Like you could put Street Fighter 2 in without Street Fighter 1, because SF1 wasn’t very good. But original Pac-Man is a good game, and still deserves to be in.

The point of these inductees is to hallmark those games that had the largest impact on the industry, not to play most popular/ technically the greatest. These are the games that defined the industry. Ms. Pacman is a better game, but it Pacman laid the foundation for it.

The only real oversight on their part is the lack
