that is a list of really great games, and yes i would tend to agree that in many cases like these it is simply so much hype we get it's hard not to be enthusiastic with all the buzz, which wasn't impressed on us QUITE as much as when we just relied on magazine news back in the day, in my opinion. That and perhaps with

I'd be curious to read a thread of lists of games not completed for people to see if we could get much overlap and compare why that might be , that you almost feel guilty for not sticking with. I'll start...games that come to mind are okami, viewtiful joe, gta iv, new vegas (working on now), devil may cry 4, twilight

There are definately psychological theories out there about procrastination not dealing with dopamine levels, but I hear you with steam..it reminds me of if you go to a really great garage sale...you think to yourself, "oh man I'm saving a fortune buying this" , but then you realize by the time you add up all these

dear lord i wish the dimensions on these were more wallpaper friendly

"How is this considered trolling? I state something controversial for a reason, to spark discussion" how is that NOT trolling?

I'm curious how much new attention demon souls actually brought, i would imagine plenty who bought it already knew their name well from the disgaea and persona series, but i wholeheartedly agree they should (and almost certainly will) bring this stateside.

This doesn't really apply to ffx exclusively at all...or even to say it lead to 13 I don't agree with at all. look at materia in 7, pretty simple concept really. And trying to get everything in x is as challenging as any of the games, with aniimas location and getting all the celestial weapon parts, it had just as

thanks, will check them out

I'll be hopping on the 3ds bandwagon, and though I've never actually owned a ds the list of rpg games I want from it have just been piling up and up. I've already done my research on that genre, but my question is are there any non-rpg games you feel are essential for a ds collection you think I should pick up? I

I wasn't exactly expecting them to do it again, but i did have my hopes. Back in the day when they talked about releasing black mesa, I thought for sure they would release "the black box" lol. that game, hl episode 3, portal 2, and all the updates for consoles that tf2 got. For some reason I convinced myself this for

am I the only person who felt like the later levels were about on par difficulty wise with end game play of donkey kong country 2? ya, I used up plenty of balloons, but in no way would i really consider the game especially difficult.

@Taggart6: There still exist "new changes" in 13, you may have just not appreciated them. Personally, being someone who played all titles mentioned, I still enjoyed the story and thought the combat was really fun at times. Having to rush back to sentinel and hope you get provoke then steelguard off in time before a

@ShiryuGN: I'm happy to hear someone mention if the updates are really making a difference. I really want to try it when it's released for the ps3, and hopefully by that time they are really back on track.

@BiggunSid: glad to see they're giving stars to the best of the best these days... I'll let you reread your comment to decide if I'm being sarcastic or not.

@DrDankstone: The team can choose however they want to portray a character for artistic reasons, but people have every right to comment, because essentially the "artists" are making subjective choices to try to improve the experience for said fans. If enough fans express feelings against a certain character or style,

@resvrgam: I would argue over "well established" to the point where it seemed conceivable to think of a game with her going this way, but we're kinda splitting hairs there. I do understand the frustration of said character taking a turn that almost ruins them for you though.

@resvrgam: also, I don't think I will ever get the phrase "jiggle-physic to his mushroom" to leave my mind. that is probably the best thing I've heard this week. thank you. :)

@resvrgam: I'm taking that as a joke, in which case that's pretty funny. I'm nervous I'm going to sound like an ass if you're being serious though... so let me make a quick response if it isn't...

@resvrgam: I'll bring up a couple of points here....

@truthtellah: friend, you just blew my mind with funny.
