even without bringing in some comparisons of tf2 to the argument, i thought this game was pretty bad really. I was bored with combat online after the trial expired. that shouldn't happen after an hour. to each their own, but I don't think anyones really missing out drastically not picking up this game. timewaster as

seeing donkey kong country returns makes me want to finally play dk 64. i rented it once and liked it, and that's the only experience I've had.

@anaki: i think i covered your comment about it being cgi and not applying when i said above, " also i realize this article is about gameplay not cutscenes I'm just curious" :)

@Jouen: they did alot to improve over mw2 actually, and they were all things that really bothered me about mw2. in mw2 your gun is positioned off your camera, which is invisibly marked at the top of the head....which is why you get examples of people sniping when their gun is pointed at a rock, because their head

out of curiousity, i think i remember a friend telling me the opening cinematic for final fantasy 8 where they scan the field had everything individually rendered (grass, flowers, everything.) anyone know if that's true? also i realize this article is about gameplay not cutscenes I'm just curious. in regards to this

honestly, if they just have the creature in the background above and a couple new weapon creation combos, that's all that's really needed to get me to sink in 100 hours or more. though tri is still treating me pretty well.

@ThreeOneFive: monster hunter tri for the wii, which introduces underwater battles. or did you mean this specific game?

@jwadeTC7: i live in iowa city, like 40 minutes away from cedar rapids. honestly im a firm believer you can make the most of wherever you are living. i've lived in different parts of iowa and there is plenty to do with major bands coming through and diversity in ic. i've been to other states and it's nice to visit,

i hadn't read anything about the guardians yet...was this something they did in final fantasy xi? either way march can't come soon enough :(

@mousearmy: it's been so long since i've seen father ted. those dirty feckers.

@Deanb: his argument seems very, very weak. if there was a blog site called "the eco friendly guide" and a post was made promoting wasting oil" ( i know you're probably NOT going to find an article anywhere promoting that, I'm just using it for the example) it would never fly as a legitimate defense if an editor

@someone_else: in regards to the church not including certain scriptures that were written, A. those sciptures did not try to get buried, so anyone interested can still find them, just not in the bible. second, the reason most were not included is time frame. the church did realize they were some people who had no

@ekm29: unfortunately i completely agree with you on this point, i think it's the first time too. the celebrity deaths included atleast had in some way or another been involved in video games. atleast it should have a how is this news tag. ya ya i'm sure someone will respond "they can put whatever it's a gaming

after watching that video, does anyone else feel like suddenly all of tim rogers previous columns make sense now? i don't even mean that as a put down.

@Tenshigure: but my point is that it DOESN'T exist in practice right now, and i doubt they'll put it back in practice. you do sign up when you turn 18, but that's for if they ever actually reinstate the draft. people who are in iraq are people who specifically signed up for the army, beyond the registering process

i think it's important to realize how unlikely this event is, obviously if cases of say suspicious activity started having random areas servers go down all the time there is going to be problems. but are we really all so obsessed with getting our online fix that if a serious threat we all recognized happens we can't

@Adhominem: am i missing something since the draft hasn't been reinstated? let me edit before i get a response. i understand when you're 18 you have to signup IF the government chooses to have a draft, but this hasn't been the case with the current war and I really, really doubt an active draft will be put back into

honestly, this doesn't look that bad at all. revolutionary? definately not. a that reminds me a bit of time crisis and is a blast to play around friends? it seems like it has the potential (i know time crisis is a shooter and you pop up from behind objects, for some reason it just reminds me of the same thing.)

@DocSeuss: i've gotten some harrassing calls but yes i'd rather deal with that than in person, considering it would be scarier that an actual physical assualt threat would always be in the back of your mind. kind of reminds me of some of the people my brother has to deal with being a lawyer.haha, i'd be curious to see
