Microsoft thinks Assassin's Creed 2 isn't worth a mention during their press conference. The 3rd party games they did preview were either exclusives or bigger franchises than Assassin's Creed. Yeah, I said it.

@FP_slomo788: We don't know all of Sony's plans. The game could still be localized by another publisher as well. Wait until you hear for certain that it is not coming to the US before you make this assumption.
