“Awakenings” and “The Irishman” don’t belong in the top 10 ahead of either “Midnight Run” or “Casino.” And I love “Cop Land” but DeNiro’s performance barely cracks the top 10 in that movie (Stallone, Keitel, Liotta, Moriarty, Rappaport, Sciorra, Falco, Spencer....)

Not sure I would put Goodfellas so high. Yeah, its the second or third best movie DeNiro has been in, and he does everything and more that’s expected of him in the role, but it’s hard to see Goodfellas as tour de force DeNiro movie, particularly when Pesci’s and Liotta’s performances are also so dominating.  

If Newsmax won’t hire him he should consider becoming a slave. I hear he could develop some skills that he could use for his personal benefit later.

On the topic of EVs:

The argument against EVs is weak. There’s already a market for used cars that require major repairs. People buy 12 year old Audi/Mercedes/BMW/Maserati’s all the time.

Yeah, that “debate” was so fucking juvenile. I’m not a hardcore fan of Ethan Klein but in recent years with his shift toward being more socially conscious and in general attempting to be a better person I’ve watched more of his content, in particular Leftovers on Thursdays with Hasan.

Watching that live was wild. X wasn’t really taking the debate seriously as he literally never tried to make a point in good faith. It was aggravating to watch as his main retort boiled down “yeah but” and “no u” 

Every Musk plan starts with a big announcement, then an update, then quietness, then a casual excuse while saying everything is right on track, and and then it gets shit-canned because he’s had a better plan that will supersede the original, and then there’s nothing.
