RTD really didn’t stomp on it. The Miracle Day script was floating around for awhile without any Torchwood connections. Starz had the rights to it and wanted to make it. When they decided to team up with the BBC for something, they went “Hey, we have this awesome spec script, make it work”.

Didn’t they just finished princple on JL not too long ago? I think he knows the JL is gonna be a mess and trying to get out from under the behometh before it falls on him.

Because the average american and new outlet has the attention span of about 48 hours. So when it comes time for his reveal, those people will be off on some other subject and it will be an afterthought.

I wouldn’t be surprised if there were alot of extra takes and scenes filmed for inclusion into other movies. We know they are doing a bunch of “prequel” movies of characters (why?!?!? why do we need a han solo or lando or yoda movie? bobba fett sure, but the others?) as a way to tie things together.

I love what they are doing with the newer characters and introducing some diversity. That being said, I wish they would have moved a major of it over to a completely seperate universe.

My GF finally gave up on the show after the second episode this season. I gave up on it mid-way through season 2.

Dead rotting thing bites you, bite gets infected and you die of sepsis. Granted, it happens a little fast in TWD, but then again sepsis can happen in a matter of a dozen hours and death not too long afterward. The zombie plague doesn’t kill them, normal nasties do.

Yeah that was my feeling too.

I’ve tried to like that show. Attempting watching it 3 times now and can never get pasted the 4th episode. I like the concept but yeah.
