Doesn’t really matter if it was named after people or not. They got a trademark on the words “Guns and Roses”. Now with trademarks, they are usually industry specific, but you can claim multiple industries when you file.

In order for them to keep their trademarks, they have to sue in situations like this. There is a enough similarities in the name to potentially cause confusion.
