What changed from the first time to the second time Old Joe comes back, this time voluntarily to attempt changing the timeline so that he and his wife still meet and be together? In response to people's quibblings about the supposed paradoxes in Looper on the website I write for, whatculture.com, I have put forth this theory — that when something big or unmutable happens, like Young Joe killing himself or Seth being mutilated, that forces the one single timeline that exists in Looper (how else

Hey Rian, thanks for doing this, I'm a huge, huge fan. I've seen Looper twice already and loved it. All your works seem to have similar perspectives on the human condition, what it entails and how we best deal with it. What philosophies or thinkers have you found most interesting or influential on your own outlook?

Great list, especially Venkman. How about The Operative from Serenity? So epically badass.

Great review. I hate how this season apparently isn't getting the ratings of last season, I'd hate to see it cancelled. I have *literally* (Chris Traeger inflection) been more excited for this Pro/Con list more so than the series itself. Can't wait to see where Jesus' body went (other than plot thread limbo...)

I have to go to the bank today.

Oh please let there be appearances somewhere on this list by Coheed and Cambria and The Mars Volta!
