It's very frustrating!! I submitted it as a flaw in this new design and they got back to me and simply said "we're working on it." You can click the facebook "like" button above, but that still doesn't share the link.

I installed it months ago on my stock VZW Incredible and no problems or blockage at all!

You're right. It will also use 3G EVDO for Data... for those of use that will not live in a 4g area... just to be clear; It's 4g ready, and will actually require a sim card for 4g data and voice in the future, which will be available from Verizon later. For now though, it's an Awesome phone to be sure, and reports say

@Cyrulean: There was an article on lifehacker on how to do this, sometime within the last year... software install that runs a script to open your default browser with the doc... I'm looking for it...

@Jeb_Hoge: I too use it with my family and friends to locate each other, you can navigate to the other person... for us it's for fun mostly, but useful if you're meeting them somewhere; use the gps nav and they don't have to give you directions.

@framitz: No, Latitude isn't software that you can remove. Google Maps is the software/app that is removable, Latitude is just a setting that is either on or off within Maps.

RemoteRDP - Awesome app... Pro version can connect to unlimited windows computers remotely through Remote Desktop.

why Swiftkey and not Swype? After all the Giz articles I've read praising Swype?!!

Not a bad move LG... if I had a 3D phone that could record 3D, I'd have to buy a 3D tv, from LG perhaps?

what about the mobile networks... are all the smart phones down as well? ...for tethering of course.

@kratos76: unless it has two radios... then it could multitask on 3g.

@Sunsparc: Good call, that sounds right.

@Whitson Gordon: which is funny, bc the screenshot is osx. Great tip, thank you!

@acloudman: login to your verizonwireless.com and access your account. It will have the closest available upgrade date for you.

@senorbelly: I've been in that situation, and tough it is. I have (very unhappily) agreed to work for cheaper, because I was afraid to lose the client.

Picasa Pro tool meets all my needs, very easy, upload to new or existing albums, over 3g or wifi.

@TomXP411: Good explanation. But what Winmo phone had a dual core proc?!! ...I had the VZW HTC Touch Pro, it was awesome, but I'm pretty sure no dual processor.

So, as of 8pm EST, that's 14,340 Android fans users to 12,999 iOS fans. Flame on!
