Same here (although with a better exchange rate in Canada): I even bought a second digital copy of Destiny because I was constantly going back and forth between my place and my parents’, and dragging one disc to and fro was a palaver. And all I ever do is play Crucible, or grind Strikes for Strange Coins before Xur

Like a penis? ;)

Yeah, Bethesda has a bad habit of making games with a ton of useless objects littering their games. On the one hand, it’s good for creating a more realistic world/ambiance, but on the other hand, useless objects littering your inventory is really freakin’ annoying, especially for a hoarder like me. ;P I love games

I only learned about the reload cancel thing the other day. :( It probably would have slightly improved my k/d when I was playing around with NLB (I went for body shots and finishing them off with a grenade, usually, if I missed the headshot).

I want to see a team go in with all Common gear and Husks. ;)

Nah, I’m terrible at PvE, but I enjoy PvP. I am sometimes good at it, sometimes not, but mostly somewhere in the middle. But I hate PvE.

This excerpt _almost_ makes me wish I’d gotten past yellow belt. ;) Riveting stuff, it makes me want to read the rest of the book. :)

Where is Edward Snowden when we really need him? ;)

They should have filled it full of Felwinters and Thorns. ;)

Well, there’s good satire and bad satire. I think what some people are taking issue with is the very same issue I had with both Seth MacFarlane’s “We Saw Your Boobs” and Stephen Colbert’s debacle re: Suey Park - when satire is not wielded expertly, and fails to land squarely on its mark, it can end up perpetuating the

Kind of reminds me of HR Giger’s bug design for Starship Troopers.

Dead Space 2 was kind of like this: survival-based, but in an ultra-futuristic environment. I loved Dead Space’s UI as well because it was an immersive HUD that wouldn’t pause the game, which made things scarier. If it had been in first person, I probably would have died of a coronary. ;(

I was in university when I played Doom and I found it scary. Of course, I also played networked multiplayer on it, on ‘cid, which was fun.

Based on my assessment of the average internet commenter (especially YouTube posters), I suspect that altruistic motives aren't likely to be as successful as arguments couched in self-serving motivations, unfortunately. :(

And accessibility should be an issue of concern to all gamers because you never know when you might have an accident and perhaps lose a finger or two, which you once relied on to play your favourite games, and thus you can no longer play these games that you once loved to play.

Yeah, you would have thought that game makers and console makers would have done this a long time ago, so that in a game, rather than assigning a function to specific buttons explicitly, they would have assigned a function to a variable, to which a default button is assigned, but can be changed. Then, if someone

Definitely. I'm glad they are making an effort to be inclusive, because a lot of gamers are differently abled in some way, and standard control schemes can be hell.

Damnit, I want this for Xbox! *sobs*

/#1 change: remap knifing in CoD so I don't accidentally try to knife because I pushed too hard down on the thumbstick :P

Or just FODMAP sensitive? ;)
