Destiny has excellent feel/controls. The story might suck and the grind is frustrating but the multiplayer is top notch.

"Pandering" or "calculated" make sense to me to say what you're saying- "creepy" def seems to imply a sexual nature to his motivations. At least the way I read it. BTW: not trying to call you out, just pointing to where the confusion comes from.
