You pretty much nailed it, but you’re never gonna convince people in the “all paid DLC is bad” camp.

Part of the issue is that you can’t just pay $6 and get one costume. You have to pay $10 to buy the tokens to get that one costume, at which point you’re stuck with extra tokens. So theoretically unless you’re buying exactly 5 costumes for $30 (or the next multiple up) you’re carrying around extra tokens.

But why is “buying them all” the metric to be measured against? You don’t need them all unless you want to buy them all. I really don’t get this point.

Putting the issue of not being able to buy exactly the right amount of fighter coins, which is a dick move, isn’t this the way we want micro transactions to work?
