I like football. If I go to an NFL game and they play Curling, that’s the issue.

I am way less annoyed by FFXVI becoming an action game than I am about so many people asserting that Final Fantasy games have always been about reinvention. Maybe that’s true in terms of setting & narrative (and I would argue you’d have to really stretch the idea of what narrative “reinvention” means in an anthology…
What even is the point of this?
I hope Nintendo doesn’t overthink it and try to reinvent the wheel. They really knocked it out of the park with Switch so why couldn’t they just keep the same system but push newer hardware? Like with Steamdeck and others entering the market it would be nice if Switch 2 was as powerful as a Series S.
Flux Constructs are found on Sky Islands
Gerudo weapons will boost the damage of whatever you fuse, at the cost of durability, so that’s nice.
Except what’s actually going to happen in the real world is that you’ll get a shit digital release. That’s some serious naivety to expect that not having to make physical games is going to magically fix release problems.
As someone who’s spent twelve years working for a triple A games company and shipped about twenty titles, what the fuck are you talking about “3+ months ahead of release”?!
No, I’m sorry, this is rubbish.
Elephant in the room:
“As creatives obviously, by going digital-only it does allow us more time to polish the game,” Rowley told Eurogamer. “Like, a significant amount of weeks actually. Because otherwise, the game that goes on the disc, obviously it has to be playable without a patch.”
Regardless of the competition, what Spiderverse accomplished here is pretty impressive: it’s very rare for a movie to reclaim the #1 spot after losing it, let along during the crowded summer season, and especially not after nearly a month of release.
There are a multitude of reasons, yes, but Ezra Miller is absolutely one of them.
Right? I mean, what they said is true but lets not forget about skipping the manufacturing costs, shipping, distribution, retailers, and of course the used market as you pointed out. On top of that there’s no risk of retailers taking on too many units and then discounting to clear stock.
Whole plot of the show was built around a bootstrap paradox, so they were doing time travel shenanigans before it was cool.
I think the point is that “the devastating second Shadow War seen in the show’s fifth season” as claimed in the article is incorrect.
Is it even B5 if you don’t have to make allowances for extremely limited budgets?
Nobody listens to Zathras.
They brought Zathras back, but not Zathras? I bet this is why Zathras is shunned in every time zone. Zathras knows.
It’s been a long road, gettin’ from there to here….
