I love the light hearted take and twist on the formula and I know I’m not alone. Slapstick and absurdist comedy is hardly “bottom of the barrel” just because you don’t like it. Plenty of cult and non-cult comedy hits have been one or both. 

The first two were so great, I hope the rest live up to those.
