I would say that the first season didn’t offer much bad luck protection. Since you’re playing 12-24 games, some of them you’re just going to lose - future seasons softened the blows of losing a bit.

Pandemic Legacy 1, to me, is the weakest of the three. Great, but 3 (0) was best and 2 was better, for me.
