And my point is, we can’t get rid of everything that triggers the happy chemical by labeling them addictive.

I disagree. Otherwise by your logic you can become addicted to anything which I think is not true.

Yes - compulsion, not addiction. Plenty of people have compulsions about things that don’t rise to the level of addiction, in my opinion. Compulsion is not addiction

Because gambling is generally to win money and loot boxes arent.

I don’t think “loot box addiction” is a real thing no

Pretty sure it’s not random and actually a targeted, chosen group.

Addicts lol

It’s clear that some people are liking it.

“used to be” lol

Crunch culture is…if you go back 10 years ago, it’s a little unfair to put that on one studio,” said Booty. “It was just part of the industry.“

“Everyone else does it” sure is a defense.

Thanks - didn’t mean story wise, more like fun/playability/mechanics/etc.

Never played any of these but love JRPGs. Realistically, should I play 3-5 or just 5?

This kind of stuff really makes you appreciate the studios/publishers that push back games and give them time to get it right. Also amazing how some management just don’t get it.

Yeah it’s definitely “it’s your own fault you think it’s bad because it’s actually really good”

Maybe they could, you know, explain it and help us understand what it is….?

yeah i’m just saying i really don’t care about that stuff, and i think a lot of people don’t. i don’t want to make friends at a store or have conversations, i’ll just do that with my friends, i want to purchase things at a store, preferably for a low or good price.

i mean i couldn’t. damn it

tbh i really could care less if they know my name, a lot of things beat that
