The number of people who have both the desire and ability to do that is much, much smaller than you think. Just because you can download a rom doesn’t mean the large majority of people know you can do that or even know how to do that.

I never played this generation so this is perfect for me. 

I would argue that we’ve been doing this all along and the problem is only getting worse. Perhaps this line of thinking is part of the problem.

To be fair I don’t think anything has changed regarding trading in this remake that was generation four. 

Can you not be more specific besides “this game is amazing”? What specifically about those examples mentioned is so great? (I’ve never played a Dark Souls game)
