I picked this game up a year or two ago. I don’t quite get this particular issue. It’s directed at new players and all it is is pointing out that you can spend money to buy in game currency which, of course you can.

Dated a cop for 7 years. He would admit that cops can be the whiniest bunch of people. Met plenty of them through him as well that I’m still friends with. Nice try though

You can not be a cop and also point out the problems with the police system. Not sure why you think they’re mutually exclusive. Why so defensive?

We all know there are “good cops”. They’re still present in an awful system. 

How does this do anything other than “make cops look good so people can justify ignoring the bad shit they do”? These things wouldn’t be needed if cops would stop doing the bad shit they do. They need to rehabilitate their imagine because of their systemic issues. Why exactly do we need to teach kids not to be afraid…

These non-Niantic games can be odd. Sometimes they use really random POIs or map data that isn’t immersive at all. 

I’m worried about what this means for the site as a whole  

They’re not forcing him to pay $2.1m. They’re forcing him to pay $50 a month. That’s not a “life destroying amount”.

$50 for something fun, sure, that’s tough.

I agree. If you adjust your mindset to just doing what you want, it’s very approachable. 

They’re all scams, so why are we pretending this is anything different?

They said it’s lower in sodium, not lower in salt. So I assume it’s less Na and more Cl, maybe the ratio is different?
