Been playing the game since launch and follow it every day and never read this “press release” you’re mentioning, so I think you’re misremembering. Either way it’s not in the game so I have no idea what you’re referring to.

Just buy it with Canadough, guy. 

They don’t give you less; not sure what you mean by that. They give you the exact same thing. They cost slightly more but not a lot more. I use them sometimes but not often, I prefer to use my daily free one. They sometimes give free remote passes as well.

Or, keep playing until the event is over which is usually a week. It’s very easy to play for free. 

I don’t ever recall anything about paid updates. There’s code for a subscription plan in the game but nothing announced yet. 

Id say the bulk of the game is solo though. Distance is a lot of feet to spin a stop or gym, you can easily stay away from people while doing most of the game. 

Is it just me or does “play it safe” = “we want more attention than we will get that day”? Unless they’re saying if there’s another riot, they don’t want to seem like they’re being flippant?

One would think a pandemic would be a better time to release a game, what with everyone staying in. Wait too long, and people will be able to get out and  might not want to game as much.
