I guess that seems like, to me, depriving yourself of something you want because of the principle of the payment format which seems odd to me, but you do you. It’s $5 a month and cancelable at any time.

I see, but how many games do you go back and play a lot? You’re going to not play a game because you might want to go back and play it but can’t? Seems like you’re missing out on something you think you’ll like...

That’s why it’s on the service :) But why not pay $5 for the month to play it? Maybe you’ll like it and some other games.

I agree with that and it tempers my feelings about it a bit...but really, to me, it was the thousands and thousands in the crowd (and also zero cheering sound effects that I could hear). I get what you’re saying and remember it from previous games, but the disconnect seemed even bigger this time around in that area…

Evidently we didn’t see those huge villages in the game. That’s one of my big complaints about S&S - you go to these gym battles with crowds of thousands and then the town consists of...two houses? And a few people milling around? Not very immersive.

Jeopardy also has some of those questions too - a slam dunk if you know the topic, but something you can maybe get if you know another topic.

I disagree, I think they were appropriate. Jeopardy! is kinda always like that - if you know a subject well you can clear it, but knowing little things about other subjects are what you need. Those would be tough questions for an adult who’s not familiar with pokemon.
