I’m sure they aren’t going to cut back on vanity comedy specials where we hear Ricky Gervais say the same joke he’s been telling for the past 2 decades. “more jokes about being an atheist and why trans people suck? Give him $20M right away!!!”

I feel like the jokes will soon turn into “memestock” bullshit where people raise $100M and give it to Sony to make the movie.

The show got progressively worse every season. By season 4,  it was outright bad. So the end isn’t a shock if you watch it under that mindframe.

Pam’s character arc in this season was the only thing that made a lick of sense. Her and Konstantin’s little self contained story worked, and his death, and her subsequent leaving the life were perfect capstones to it. Everything else this season...not so much.

I’d complain about the entire last season more than just a death at the end (although it’s hilarious how it ends with Eve yelling in the water for like 2 seconds and then that’s the end of the show. “uh...that’s it?”)

On the search, if you type in classic, it will show some of the older movies. Otherwise...good luck!

Adding the “coming soon” tab was good, at least you can see what was added there, and what will be coming in the week, month to follow. But too much of the main pages are cluttered with algorithm bullshit that makes things impossible to find. And unless you use the search function, there are thousands of movies or…

I have to believe he was hands off...because the way he just ignored Last Jedi to keep making the dumb mystery box movie shows he clearly didn’t like the direction it took.

Netflix needs this right now, their original shows are a bit lacking compared to HBO Max and Apple TV recently. 

I hope he just sticks to original movies. One of the worst things about current hollywood is that young directors get roped into Star Wars or Marvel bullshit instead of being given a chance at their own career. In Abrams defense, this was a shitshow by the producers, they chose not to have an actual plan in place, and let each director just do whatever in what was supposed to be a coherent trilogy.

Seeing the origin of “the 12" makes it seem even more unlikely that they would be this globe spanning juggernaut in the current time. A bunch of punk rock anarchists went from partying and trashing a house to...being able to get anyone out of jail and ruling the world from the shadows?  Doesn’t work for me at all.

Thank goodness Bojack was in the earlier Netflix era where they would just renew everything. So glad that show got to tell it’s story before Netflix decided the algorithm must rule all decisions.

The idea that this would be an insult to Jodi Whittaker in any way shows that you are just trying too hard here.
