How so? Blaming things on undiagnosed mental illness, something that cannot be treated by virtue of being undiagnosed, is beyond pointless. The Vegas killer Stephen Paddock had no history of mental illness. Do we just say “well, he killed, therefore mentally ill, and guns aren’t the problem”?

What a great article! Thanks for this.

I’m not sure any, and certainly not the majority, suffered or were treated for actual mental illness. Most times you see “he killed those people, he was mentally ill” as a reflex because it makes sense - who else would commit mass murder? But the truth is the majority of these people are not diagnosed, and are not

Oh please, your rage shows the well was poisoned the minute you saw “B-”.

What mental illness caused Columbine? The Aurora shooting? The Vegas shooting?

I don’t see a similarity in their performances at all.

God...fanboys are just the fucking worst thing in existence. This is a thoughtful review that dismisses the “controversy” over this movie and reviews it on the merits. It praises aspects, criticizes others, and give you a good understanding of what you are in for, all you can ask for a review. But the amount of genuine

My supermarket is weird. We have the “ethnic” aisle, but then they put salsas with the other condiments. They also have the various rice types next to each other, in the past they’d put some in the ethnic aisle. So they’ve at least migrated one or two things, but others are still stubbornly in that aisle. Put the

I’ll monitor the slump. My car is a 2007 Civic, under 100,000 KM (city living!). My GF’s is a 2007 Accord, slightly more than 200,000 KM (suburb living!). We have both discussed buying, seems like it might be a good time soon.

I mean, if it’s in an article about why the movie failed, sure? But if its on an article about a movie made by a different director, staring none of the cast, about a different topic, where there is no reason to talk about it, I’d say you are just going to have to accept the taunts of incel alt-right Trumper. Because

Again...you are still going on about this movie, one you say you found “meh”, 3 years after its release, in a story that has nothing to do with it. Evaluate what exactly is making you do that, and maybe you’ll realize why some people online may think you are an alt-right Trump supporter. I’m not saying you are one,

The new Ghostbusters didnt shame you into liking it either. In fact, you and other losers are still obsessively bashing it online 3 years after it failed at the box office.  It’s quite pathetic, but I’m sure you’ve heard that said about you many times in your live already.

Lol, you guys can’t get over it.

I mean, that’s not what I’m doing at all, just noting that bringing Feig’s name here for no reason other than to take a shot at a 3 year old movie is quite telling.

And what’s funny changes movie to movie even in the same series. It’s not the audiences fault that the Hangover movies went from original to regurgitated shlock. That’s on Phillips. He is the one who wanted to Xerox his movie to decreasing returns and critical acclaim.

I’m fine with that. I still think cyclists should wear reflectors and have a light of some kind.

I’ll only take this out of the greys to laugh at you for trying to “burn” me, but then misspelling “whining”. Loser.

Yeah, i’m wondering myself. Fargo season 1 and 2 were brilliant. Season 3 was uneven and never really felt like it got to the point. Legion had moments that were just gangbusters, but others that were very “meh”.  Lucy seems to be on the “meh” side of his ledger.

Still this mad about the most recent Ghostbusters? Let it go child.

“they think we are too powerful, which sucks, but we’ll fight it...anyway, here is our new app to try to destroy TikTok, our newest competitor...”
