I had trouble with my HOX ever since I bought it, but at least I got my money back , and got to keep the phone, so I'll get a new GS5, and have money left over, and the HOX to play with and try all kinds of ROMs

Yeah, exactly! I'm switching finally from an HTC One X, and vowed never to get a phone with non removable battery ever again. I knew when I bought it that it was a bad decision, and I did regret doing it very soon.

Right now I have an HTC One X, and have to carry a charger+cable everywhere with me, because the phone doesn't last a day with moderate use...

I totally agree with you! China is getting to be a real contender in the smartphone world. Now only if the sold the thing here in my country...
Really if they had it here, and had service support, I'd buy it in a heartbeat, but ordering a phone from China with no support locally is too big of a risk for me...

I have a battery pack, not from Mophie, because they don't have one for the HTC One X. The biggest problem with it, is that it's big (bigger than my phone) and fugly. Carrying a replacement battery that'll fit nearly anywhere seems like a better way to go.

I wrote HTC about getting the One X+ battery, when my phone was last serviced. I never got a response. Thanks, this is good to know, that it's possible to upgrade a battery. I'll go this route when this dies completely.

I'm still using it. Battery life is all over the place, but waaay better since I rooted and got CM on it :D

There's no "wow factor" with device. I wish they had made the camera better, not just put an extra gimmick on it, that would have made it stand out from the crowd. The non removable battery is a deal breaker for me, especially coming from an HTC One X, I swore never ever to buy a device with an integrated battery.

Having done spelunking for quite a number of years, being stuck in a hole is frightening enough without water... Exploring caves is not a joke, it rarely allows for mistakes, so if you do intend on going, never do it alone, and always tell someone where you're going!

The microSD slot is not a priority for me, I've never ran out of space on my HTC One X, but power... damn power is a daily issue.
