As much as I wanna buy one I understand that it will be painfully slow and boring. Drop in engine from WRX, all normal Automatics (for someone who lives in the city) and call it a day. If you can drop a better suspension, STI engine and DCCT - shut up and take my money Subaru!

Or A4 and A5 and A6. CLA and S class. Okay, I’m kidding here.
In fact there’s nothing wrong with cars looking same in a lineup.

Oh, I can easily see this math, but most likely you’ll jump on something else after 2yr: better deal or anything like that. Also, it doesn’t say that you have to trade-in your card to be eliglble for that lease, you just have to own/lease card from that brand. I.e. your SO drives MB for example.
I understand that 2yr

What’s wrong with 24 mo lease? Sign for another lease at the end and that’s it. Guess they want more alfas on the streets with that.

I see what you’re saying here. I don’t see date anywhere in the paperwork. However if she have VIN on hand - it will be harder to put this car on the display. Making it public is a good idea, however it’s not enough. Gotta get a lawyer.

Extra 12-15$ markup from another dealer may be?

I can expect that typical new-porsche buyer is way more responsible then new-civic R buyer. I can also expect that someone might get some nice goodies from Porsche for just doing that. So it will be completely “display car at-will”

Or, you can be like this lady, but.. a bit more successful. Getting a got hatch @$37k and flipping it for $50k next week.

So dealer can trash it for 1000 miles and pay het $250 for it? That’s like 20 fun-ries with 19yo kids.

Why the hell you’d ever sign for that 3-months showroom display with load and insurance? You bought a car that should be delivered end of June and you expect to be driving it next week. You don’t want then to pay insurance, you want actual car.

Buy a bike may be? Like bicycle, without a motor.

XT won’t help in current gen. Have to put it on a serious diet. Considering sales figures for Outback, this is not gonna happen.

And some people still live in the cities and automatics are getting better and better. As long as I would like to drive manual, it will be PITA in the city traffic. Automatics is the way to go

Who might be interested? Someone like me for example.
I’d like some sporty AWD Wagon/SUV. Porshce Macan? Too pricey. X1 - May be too small, and 2.8 engine only. Wish they made X1 with 6 cylinder engine though - more fun in smaller package.

Well, according to this Golf R looks like a winner to me. Fastest to 62mph, second lightest, AWD, smallest turning radius, most economical in the city and on the highway, have bigger trunk(likely), have way better interior and doesn’t look like I’m a racer. It’s hard to justify Civic price at this point.

No. Just fucking no. I don’t have a car and I have to rent it when I wanna go snowboarding. Once I get this Kia I was quite excited: it was fresh and clean, boxy and fun looking car. Obviously it was snowing, that’s why I decided to go for a ride.

Problem is when it comes to a bit more rugged or lifted sedan we have no options. Or when it comes to something more fun then SUV answer is... crossover. I wanna be able to carry my shit around and don’t care if it snows (makes me happy, I’m snowboarder), but I wanna enjoy summer. What should I go for?

Looks like the only one reasonable answer is lambo. Seriously, you guys think this guy was working 3 shifts to hear your advise about 40 yo lambo? Or Vector M12? He’s smart enough to care about resale value. What is harder to sell (you’ll lose money anyway) Murci or Vector?

It’s an insteresting stage where owners of good and old cars trying to squeeze into “legendary cars” market ahead of time. Wait another 30 years and this 3000GT may get you $200k, but not now. From today’s perspective this ain’t old enough to be called “classic” nor fast enough to cost $25k used.

I think there’s a line betweek stripped-off car and something basic (not in a bad way) or ascetic. In fact, we don’t need a music(we have phones), we don’t need maps(we have phones). All you need is basically climate control, bunch of chargers, cupholder and may be volume control. Okay, add AUX IN, just in case.
