Even Steam appreciates cat tax.

Wouldn’t that kind of trained focus build as a result of practice and just getting better at the game? I assume that if you took a player who started new, but practiced a game for days, months, even years, you’d see the same effect (to varying degrees). Pretty sure you’re not born with proper video game focus.

I don’t play this game (I jumped into the sandbox once or twice, but really don’t have the patience to stick with it), but I have mad respect for the dev team. Just by listening to this guy, you can tell he has both a deep love and respect for the game, and so does the rest of his team. I don’t even play and it shows.

Also, we needn’t forget that men go through hormonal shifts as well. Obviously not with the same side-effects, but less perceptible ones. How do we know taste/smell wouldn’t be a factor? If it was, I doubt this ignoramous would suddenly decide men are also incapable of making sushi.

Right? Why are they apparently eating part of every dish? I get tasting from a pot of something if you aren’t quite sure (and I think many good chefs do), but I’d expect Super Master Giga-Chefs would know how their food is turning out without having to taste each one...

Well now we’re just going round and round.

I had heard them say that women’s hands are too warm for sushi, even though the opposite is actually true (smaller, less body heat, colder hands). Just more invented excuses.

I hate these completely made up reasons to keep women out of specific areas. You’re not a woman - you’ve never menstruated. How about you don’t fucking tell me what happens to my body, or other women’s bodies, when we do, you prick?

I actually don’t have any insane stories. My family is pretty chill, or meal large but not ungodly so. I head to my parents’ house early in the day to help prep and cook (I can NOT cook, but I can take direction decently enough). I’m actually really bummed that for the past two years, this one included, my

Oh good Lord...

Someone doesn’t agree with me and has vastly different life experience = being raised in a cult, apparently.

30+ years old is a child, now?

I have never eaten at a place that served appetizers alongside entrees… Where the hell is this LW posting from?? Around here, all the large chain restaurants, from Applebee’s to Texas Steak House, all deliver appetizers well before the rest of the meal.

I mean, that’s specifically why there was a separate survival mode to begin with... And if you’re going to create a mode that specifically doesn’t encourage pvp, it’s a pretty dick move to pull something like this.

I like how Destiny does it. Players can’t damage each other unless you’re in designated pvp modes, period. The ONLY exceptions are if you’re in a fireteam with someone, and can then push them off cliffs or ram them with a sparrow. Which is, for the most part, limited to the affected person being AFK, which is a

Nah, lol.

As someone who doesn’t even like beer (I’ll take a fireball and cream soda tho), that’s an awesome idea!

When she said let people help, I don’t think she meant absolutely everyone, including the family dog. I’m sure she meant dole out jobs to those you know can handle them. All of dinner shouldn’t come down to literally ONE person, assuming it’s for a number of people.

If you’re like me and a day does not derail you at all, have at it (I recently lose 80 lbs and even though I don’t weigh my food or count calories, not a single day goes by where I don’t take calorie amounts into consideration). But there are people who don’t like using holidays as an excuse, and I don’t think they

I agree that one day won’t kill your healthy eating, but if someone doesn’t want to make excuses because of a holiday, friggin’ let them be. The last thing someone who is really focusing on their weightloss and their health needs to hear is, “Oh it’s just ONE day... Celebrate with us!... You can always diet
