Speaking as a former 9-year-old male, it would have been more awkward for him if he were her son.

“Major East Coast city.” Nothing about north.

I was picturing DC Metro Station (especially because of the politician-hair comment), but can’t figure out what would be “across the street.” The Postal Museum?

I’m one of the admittedly crazy person that does have a preferred bite order (meat on bottom, toppings above). But really? The only way that could be an issue is if the bread itself is sided (so maybe something like a wasabi salmon bagel made upsidedown). But how is that something you bother a person about? How?

Loaded the page off my RSS to say the exact same thing.

I’m completely the opposite. I begrudgingly do the group content because I like experiencing everything, but outside of two raid nights per week WoW is a solo game for me. I love it as that and would hate for there to be more forced group integration.

Absolutely, it’s at least worth giving a shot with the 20-level free trial. I got in a few years ago when everyone was saying things similar to other posters here (“best days are over”) and I’ve been having a blast.

To contribute my own Pinkham’s Law response/question:

Umm... that’s exactly what I’m not doing.

Is it a bad sign that my reaction to the kill-person/fuck-goat would have just been “Who’s the person?”

Legally there could be a trespassing thing, but they are open to the public, so it would require an argument that other commercial vendors are not the public. Doable.

(sorry, bar exam in a week. Brain crazy).

The truth of it, or my story? Because I’m telling the truth about my subjective knowledge...

I didn’t actually know Portland, Oregon was a place until my teens. I’m from the Midwest. Maine has the true Portland. So happy to have gotten to live nearby recently.

So that’s what I’ve been doing wrong...

Interesting on the Pokemon bit. I always wondered how that ended up working—same cartridge architecture but with twice the size of the original games.

I’m from the midwest originally, but my time at fancy-east-coast-places taught me that Port was the fanciest of wines. Have I been deceived?

One might (not saying I’ve seen this, but could imagine it) emphasize the differences in expensive/cheap wine without making any claim as to goodness. I happen to really like a $3 bottle from my local grocery store. But it tastes completely different from what a $30 would that actually is “good” or what a $500

I’m waiting to buy/use one until I get higher rep. I know that Frostwolfs stop giving reputation in exalted, so you can end up stuck at 5/999 for the final run. That’s just unacceptable. I would use one of these to hit 999/999.

I mean, it does. The 1st Am doesn’t give them the right to do what they think it does, but broadly speaking it absolutely trumps the CRA. That’s kind of the point of written Constitutions, and especially for right-granting Amendments.

Chandler: Because we love kids. Love them to death. Well, not actually to death. That’s just a figure of speech. We love kids the appropriate amount... as allowed by law.”
