I know both. I am a Melee diehard. Both games are different and cater to different things. Both games can coexist. Everyone but the vocal minority agrees with this.

Melee is vastly different compared to Smash 4. Different beasts that can coexist since they cater to two different kinds of play and design.

64 is actually very fast! touch of death combos and very little landing lag due to Z cancelling. I personally really like it, but I think many people find it hard to watch since it’s sooo different than the other smash games.
