For each of the five AAA games I’ve shipped, I have seen you recycle lies and call it coverage.

You know, I find the fact that there’s a fighting game tournament to be only mildly surprising. However, the fact that it’s a Melty Blood tournament, out of all things, is only proof that meme magic is real. What a great game too.

no need to be so apologetic, you had a point, the criticism doesn’t hit as hard here at all, just because big journo man swore at you doesn’t make you wrong.

Jason this is such bullshit.

For what it’s worth, there’s an overall point that he made the mistake of thrusting upon you and Kotaku that isn’t off the mark.

I have a feeling that if this were EA or Activision, there would be paragraph upon paragraph of editorializing on the evils of crunch. Yet since it’s Rockstar, a Studio We Like (tm), the worst thing written in this article amounts to a light slap on the wrist with a reminder that hey, Everyone Does This, such as other

Ah yes, the ol’ guilt them in working more trick. “I mean, I work 100 hour a week, other people don’t, that’s ok if they aren’t as passionate as I am.”

Such bullshit. I would much rather wait another 6 or so months so that these developers dont have to work such insane work hours. I mean there are only 168 hours in a week! Also Rockstar has more than enough money to hire more people to get the work done rather than over working their employees. What a shame.

If only he were just honest and said “that statement makes me defensive about being a Christian!”

Michael Scott was ultimately a likeable and well-meaning person though. The people you’re thinking of are neither.

yeah, thats why its not as funny, now. Not because people have gotten too pc, but because now it just feels like salt in an open wound.

The problem is the Michael Scotts of the world have taken over.

there’s a very simple reason that $60 games have microtransactions - greed. they want to make ALL the money and please their shareholders. it’s the same reason that whatever the new “thing” is gets copied to absolute death - see CoD clones, MMORPGs after WoW’s success, loot boxes, battle royales, “live services”, etc.

“Limit your gaming time like a responsible adult”

Gyms are deadly boring though.

These are just general life tips.

Also, to number 2, I am adult. I can eat candy and cake for dinner if I want.

Performing step 1 actually made me want to exercise less. So no.

BOO! Leave us normie!

I think I understand the article fully.
