The more gameplay I see of this game the more it turns me off of it. Gamefreak finally does what fans had wanted for awhile, but typical to their current method they put the least amount of effort into things.

Bro, that’s just not true. Your perception of how much cheating there is, is absolutely into the realms of wild paranoia.
So... a guy who doesn’t even work for Blizzard anymore, goes on a right-wing Discord and post some stuff Kotaku writers don’t agree with. Quick, write a story with the Blizzard logo as the main image.
There's no experience on MH, even Hunter level in rise is not tied to killing stuff, at least in 1sr part of the game. I don't really see it as RPG either tbh
You know what, at this point I’m rooting for him to never finish ASOIAF. Take it to the grave, my man. I have never seen such an ungrateful, impatient, ignorant fan base.
In the last decade he has become known for not being able to finish ASOIAF, not the same thing as having a poor work ethic. Clearly he can write, he has proven that he can write a lot. He just can’t be bothered to work on the one thing everyone wants him to write.
Notoriously poor work ethic? He’s written a number of novels and has been a successful screenwriter. He still is a regular contributor to Wild Cards.
It’s just you’re doubting his contribution based on things that don’t directly tie into the lore. What actual lore from this game have you read that makes you question how much Martin was involved? How much of the backstory are you aware of?
It specifically says that he was hired to write the backstory and lore, which would have little to do with the look, style, or sound. Who the bosses are, what their background is, how the relate to each other and how the main character fits in would all be where Martin comes into play. He wrote the story, From…
And in the same breath they’ll turn around and proclaim “gaming is for everyone!”
These are the same kind of people that see worker militancy as bad and also think that if you are “poor” you deserve to be miserable because being “poor” is a moral failing.
And the games also sell to a much larger audience and sell far more copies. How do you guys always show up with half of a math equation and think that’s smart?
Also:
‘Some people are worried it’s the beginning of an across-the-board price hike, even if it’s one that’s been long overdue.’
im just gonna pirate it. hope that helps.
Shut the fuck up.
Now, now, I’m sure the Epic Store is just charging more to off-set the rising cost of shipping and manufacturing all those disks to stores across the country.
“this isn’t some hobbyist’s passion project, but a fulltime company trying to profit off of other’s work.”
Hmmm.
botw had good combat, it basically had combat like the souls games , with the parries, backstabs and quick time dodges.
