I built my friend a PC the other week for $500 with a gtx760 that can output graphics much better than a PS4. Being only $100, plus with all the money he’ll save on accessories, PSPLUS/XboxLive, and steam sales, he is paying much less than a console gamer.

Slickdeals, craigslist, and, most importantly, local pc stores. It has a gtx760, a haswell i5, 850 evo ssd, and an extreme 4 motherboard =) And of course it can’t play the max settings. Even my $2000 rig can’t play max, but that isn’t needed when even the lower settings are better than the PS4.
