It’s OK. We’ll lower the standard and have an even harder time selling cars overseas. Then we’ll impose a tariff, not really understanding that many “foreign” cars are made here and many “domestic” cars are made across a border.

Or convince people that they should ignore the manufacturers’ marketing and buy the bare bones sedan or hatchback instead of a CUV or pickup.

I think it’d be cool if they offered a PRNDL shifter on the column and a bench seat on this car.

- horse riding
- all non-synthesized music

Wanting it to be available with a manual is not the same as not wanting it available with an automatic. No one has said that it shouldn’t be available with an automatic.

So one of the claims is the sweeper was visible for 20 seconds and the vehicle took no action to avoid it. If only there was a way the car could have been manually manipulated to change course away from a stationary object by some sentient being responsible for operating the vehicle.

This is true...and it is also why you always use a credit card to put a deposit on the car because if the dealer pulls some shady stuff and tries to keep your deposit, you can dispute the charge.

High-octane fuel does not magically have more energy in it, it can just be compressed more before self-igniting. If an engine is designed for regular, then it doesn’t have enough compression to take advantage of that.
