Or convince people that they should ignore the manufacturers’ marketing and buy the bare bones sedan or hatchback instead of a CUV or pickup.

- I also don’t wear a watch, but respect the craftsmanship of the things and understand the enjoyment owners get from them

I think it’d be cool if they offered a PRNDL shifter on the column and a bench seat on this car.

Other things to give up:
- mechanical watches
- horse riding
- all non-synthesized music

Wanting it to be available with a manual is not the same as not wanting it available with an automatic. No one has said that it shouldn’t be available with an automatic.

So show me a piston engine that doesn’t use oil?

Ahem, what about rotaries, no cams, no valves, no problems!

So one of the claims is the sweeper was visible for 20 seconds and the vehicle took no action to avoid it. If only there was a way the car could have been manually manipulated to change course away from a stationary object by some sentient being responsible for operating the vehicle.

This is true...and it is also why you always use a credit card to put a deposit on the car because if the dealer pulls some shady stuff and tries to keep your deposit, you can dispute the charge.

Seriously. You know what would be cooler than a quad turbo diesel crossover? A quad turbo diesel LITERALLY ANYTHING ELSE. Minivan? Cooler. Station wagon? WAY cooler. Sedan? Cooler. Traditional SUV? Cooler (and surprisingly not done yet?) Amish buggy? Cooler albeit morally ambiguous. Mobility scooter? Let’s see how

How else are you going to get 4 - 5k lbs and 22 inch rims to 60 in under 5 seconds?

Justin,

Harleys have brakes? At their speed i didnt think you’d need ém

How could you tell that their brakes failed? They never really worked to begin with.

Whew. This could have been much worse if it had affected vehicles typically driven faster than 10 mph.

To be fair, the brakes on my Harley didn’t work for crap to start with.

Thankfully, most HD riders don’t use the front brake.

HD fans agast that company need to recall product due to stupid owners failing to perform regular scheduled maintenance of brake fluid change.

High-octane fuel does not magically have more energy in it, it can just be compressed more before self-igniting. If an engine is designed for regular, then it doesn’t have enough compression to take advantage of that.
