The Secret World. If the game had been developed as a singleplayer game people would hold it in much higher regard. Excellent story with excellent characters.

I liked the original Anthem and would be very excited to play an improved version of it.
Decades with a bad school system start to show their effect.
I never ate a ration in Breakpoint in, at the moment, 40 hrs of playtime and I never had a wound longer than for the duration of an extended firefight. The survival elements might have been something which has been falsely advertised but they are a non-factor in the actual game. The game doesn’t include any real…
It’s 5 classes on release according to the announcement. One will most likely be a ranged physical class like the demon hunter or amazon, while the other might be another melee like a paladin or monk. With 2 mage classes already announced I wouldn’t expect another one.
“Diablo IV structures itself more like Destiny than its predecessor. While there is a main story that players can focus on, the world itself is more open and not merely a collection of zones you teleport to.” I don’t know if it was any different in part I but Destiny 2 is “merely” a collection of zones you teleport…
I’m not from the US so 30 ppl is really ridiculous to me.
The moment where you can render it on a screen it’s no longer “incomprehensible to mortal minds”. They’ve could done more to make these places more oppressive, dangerous and wicked but in the end, the horror you can see will always fall short of the horrors your mind is secretly conjuring. The conundrum of…
30 people? Wow, that’s like ... nothing. The vocal majority of the message boards really makes it’s presence known. Easy to write a couple of sentences, hard to really take some definitve action, right?
Thanks for the reply, gave me all the info I need. Sounds interesting and I guess I’ll take a look at it.
Roleplaying *Game*. A game is also about numbers, and crunch, and yeah equipment, encounters etc. A RPG needs gameplay design and not just narrative design. A RPG is not just about playing a role, it can play an important part but it isn’t, usually, the sole focus.
I’m on the fence about this one. I’ve read that it plays more like an point-and-click adventure game(leaning more on the narrative) than a RPG. I love good stories, of course, and RPGs but I loathe adventure games(no matter how good the story is). So... how much of a RPG is this game?
The selection of works in Soejima’s books is excellent. You really don’t need any other Persona artbooks if you have these two.
I’m playing the game on a high difficulty with no handholding were possible. No drones and I’m only using my sniper to counter enemy snipers. The AI is still stupid as shit(and takes a few seconds to spot me even if I stand right in front of them) but I’m having fun and can’t shake the feeling that this game would…
If you’re done with character creation in 5mins it’s not a RPG and I don’t mean pure aesthetics. CRPG’s have been watered down so much by now, though, that I’m not sure if anybody knows what I’m talking about.
I’ve expected this sooner, tbh. The competition in early 2020 will be *huge* and Bloodlines 2 would have a hard time making a mark against heavy weights like Cyberpunk 2077 and Final Fantasy VII Remake. I’m patient and I’m glad my early 2020 schedule won’t get any more tricky than it is already.
“but at this point it isn’t about him” it’s about all the hypocrites acting enraged on the internet
Not sure what people’s problem is & this is a singularly impressive costume. Blackfacing? srsly?
If P4 Golden is any indication this will get even worse with the “Royal” release. Though I wouldn’t want to miss the glorious, glorious aftermath of the original P4 and the absolute mindfuck you go through with all the additional stuff(Marie; the gas station dude).
I’ve had different impressions, this year is the first I’m giving PES clear precedence for better gameplay on the pitch. It actually feels like playing a game of football. I also like Volta and welcome it’s addition(you’re right about the rubbery player animations, though), I never played through “The Journey” so…
