I enjoyed the first movie and the trailers for the second so far, but it does bug me that so much of the humor relies on hard-R rating of the movie. Obviously the over the top violence necessitates the R rating, but I feel like the Deadpool works better when he’s spouting clever innuendo, like in the comics, instead

I’m a HUGE fan of the “20 minute episodes” idea. That’s how we did the prequels with my kids. My joke at the time was that while they’re not good Star Wars movies, they’re a really good Star Wars TV show. ;)

I think they’re best bet for the X-Men would be to drop the current movies and then introduce the idea of mutants and the X-Men into the MCU sort of like where Giant Size X-Men #1 (Claremont’s X-Men debut) would fall in the comics continuity. They’ve got decades of stories, so they could keep the X-Men’s activity to

Right, but part of the point is that companies like Google have been working on these problems and solutions for 10 years. They probably have a fairly tight group that’s been working on these issues during this time with fairly low turnover, and it’s not yet a field where you’re going to just be able to hire people

“Tech” - what does that even mean? I’m a technical writer for a company that develops CMS software. That’s “tech.” Am I qualified to start working on self driving cars?

Vienna sausages are awesome and you’re missing out.

Of course, in a Black Panther free world, Ava Duvernay may have gotten herself a big hit out of A Wrinkle in Time...

I’m in the same boat. I’ll probably pick up the new God of War and catch up on my backlog...

I had to read that headline like 10 times...
“DOCTOR WHO wrecked Ferrari...”
This article says nothing about Doctor Who. Was this Ferrari somehow related to Doctor Who or an actor who played the Doctor?
...
Ohhhhh... “Doctor [full stop] WHO wrecked Ferrari...”
I’m an idiot.

Yeah, I feel like a lot of the negativity from these sorts of movies is from the physical aspects and the complicated costuming process and stunt work - especially from actors who have done “real” movies. :)

Especially since other than him and Natalie Portman, I’ve heard nothing but positive stories from actors about working on Marvel movies (maybe it’s just that everyone who wants to work on another Marvel movie says that they have a good time). I can understand hating the whole process with complicated prosthetics and

Things that can go wrong with a deadlift that I know a lifter who has personally experienced:

Just imagine if it DIDN’T have Goldblum though.

I think you mean Batmanuel.

I initially read the title as if there was some kind of secret society of players using the Hunter class. This is somewhat less exciting to me.

In the case of Black Panther, it’s crushing it overseas, as well as domestically.

It will literally be the one time in DC multiverse history that it worked out well.

I mean, no movie actors voiced their characters for Star Wars: The Clone Wars, so I wouldn’t expect it anyway.

Okay, so my question is - you’ve been competing in this sport for YEARS (!!) why haven’t you learned to do a single trick on the half pipe? Like, I’m pretty terrible at snowboarding outside of just making it down the mountain without falling, but it took me an afternoon at the terrain park to land a couple 180s and
