Likely they were in an email for some purpose, like planning international travel. I've had to scan such things when traveling internationally with a school group. It may have been sent with an email address associated with the domain.

The one benefit I can see is the monthly payment price. If the home equity loan is a 10 year loan at 5%, and the car loan is a 5 year loan at 2%, you’re going to be paying much less per month with the home equity loan.

My car (Jetta TDI) will maintain about 30mph just from the idle in 5th gear. So in those situations, I just lock it in 5th and let the engine idle drive the car.

True story. I do slides for corporate training. We do them all in LaTeX so that we can easily do things like version control, diffs, etc. Once you get the hang of it, writing them is often actually faster than using PowerPoint or similar software.
