for the past four years I have averaged 2 pots (20 cups) a day. After I get out of school I plan on cutting back, if the coffee doesn't kill me first

hey, I like my particle board piece of crap, hasn't failed me yet

Sales and Marketing. Taught me that no matter what, we are all salesmen, from insurance to cars to web coding skills, you just have to figure out what you are good at selling.

@Merricat: I use synctoy for my entire music collection (200 gigs) and my movies (400 gigs) to three external drives.

@TehBeardMan: Nothing beats a frosty glass of budweiser draft on a Friday evening

I am a senior in college, spring break was this week. I stayed to work all week. Today my boss says "your coming in this weekend right?" If one person tells me about their trip to South Padre I just might lose it

Vote: SyncToy

Strike a deal with tv manufactures and build it into the tv. I'm not going to clutter my crowded entertainment system with yet another box, but if it comes inside my next tv, I will use it.

I have a better experience with netflix than I do with hulu, I can't say it is because silverlight is better than flash though.

@dmtofree: Its not required to watch...but I pay 15 bucks a month for netflix, I don't complain about Hulu, thats free, take what I can get, but if I am paying money I shouldn't be constrained. I have lots of issues with this, and this post is not the time or place.

the fact that workarounds like this are required to watch what you want is one reason I don't watch tv anymore. I pay for netflix, but it's 50/50 as to whether or not all of the episodes in a season are included, hulu is even worse. I torrent the office because I work when it usually airs, and thats about it

I have been using dirpy for awhile now, it gives you the option to either download the video or the audio. There are lots of times when just being able to grab the audio comes in handy

I have been trying to do this for awhile, it doesn't always work for me. I try to keep school and gaming on the desktop, and central hub for media. I have an old ibook to sync ipods with and use social media on. I also have a netbook that is for on the go, class note taking, traveling.

I put it on the left and use auto-hide. If I need to see what applications are open I ctrl-tab, and use win-key and search to open anything.

this reminds me of digg. it has recommendations, but it's not quite there yet. I will give it more time.

there is something I don't understand about HTML5, you can program in flash, is there a way to add that functionality to a video format? I don't understand how flash games and the interactivity of flash can be duplicated. Youtube videos are one thing, farmville is another. Unless people plan to switch from flash to

@Terry: well, the numbers add up, and my netbook is severely lacking.I was looking at it wrong, I'm used to seeing a memory percent used, not memory percent free.

Is it just me or does this not add up?
